Throughout his career, he has been involved in large and complex deals where he has provided legal support through a pragmatic and business oriented approach. He has advised on transactions with respect to structured products, debt capital markets, investment banking and derivatives. He is common law and civil law qualified, and he practices in both English and French.
He is also a strong proponent of fintech. He focuses on the numerous potential applications of blockchain in the context of financial services as well as the burgeoning field of regtech. Mr Chuang Shin Wee
Chuang Shin Wee is the co-founder and CEO of Pand.ai, an AI-fintech company that specializes in building “smart chatbots” using deep-learning for natural language processing (deep NLP). Headquartered in Singapore, Pand.ai started serving financial institutions from around Asia since last year.
A fintech veteran, Shin Wee founded his first startup in Shanghai back in 2013, before moving to Geneva in 2015 as part of Switzerland’s first fintech accelerator. Prior to that, he was the Head of Digital Banking with Standard Chartered Bank and was named one of “Top 50 Business Innovators in China” by CBN Weekly for inventing probably the world’s first leads-capturing ATM.

Prior his work in payments, Mittal worked at Microsoft and Gemalto. He holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore. Vishal has been at Microsoft for over 5 years where he has worked on eCommerce fraud Risk and Commerce Payments Partnerships with Leading Banks & Issuers across APAC to enable digital payments solutions on Microsoft Commerce platform.
Prior to joining Microsoft in 2012, Vishal led the Digital Private Banking Risk & Payments Strategy at Credit Suisse in Europe and Asia. Vishal holds an MBA with specialization in Corporate Finance from Cardiff University, UK.
