Almost a Decade Pass, Many are Still Asking, "What Exactly is FinTech?"

The uprise of FinTech started almost a decade ago and till this day, there are many still asking the big question, "What exactly is FinTech?"
This is no surprise as argued by the article, "... the shifts aren’t necessarily all on the surface, so it’s easier to start with explaining that the main function of financial services isn’t changing. You’re still going to get loans, you’re still sending money in exchange for goods, and banks are still going to need unbreakable security to protect your investments."
Think of FinTech as the CGI effect crew behind Hollywood Blockbusters. Movie goers enjoy the improved cinematic effects and will still continue to only recognize the Hollywood Stars/Production Companies but not able to name any CGI Effect Company.
